Teamwork ACHIEVES a Greater Langley City.
After 25 years of service to the RCMP, the Township of Langley, and Langley City Hall, what I offer is Fiscal Accountability, Experience & Knowledge, and straight talk.
Every policy I support must pass three tests: Does it respect the taxpayer? Does it focus on core services residents rely on every day? And does it make Langley City safer and more connected?
If elected, my goal is to bring common sense back to City Hall - reasonable taxes, back to core services not vanity projects, Community Safety Officers to bridge Bylaws and RCMP, working with the Township to keep the RCMP in Langley, and open, transparent communication that listens to residents first.
Biography
My name is Val van den Broek, and I am running as an Independent for Langley City Council on October 17th. My campaign is built on one belief: Teamwork ACHIEVES a Greater Langley City.
After 25 years of service to the RCMP, the Township of Langley, and Langley City Hall, I offer what you get with me: Fiscal Accountability, Experience & Knowledge, and straight talk.
My priorities are clear: #1 Reasonable taxes — residents cannot afford a 38.52% increase in 4 years; #2 Back to core services, not vanity projects; #3 CSOs — Community Safety Officers specialized in mental health to bridge the gap between Bylaws and RCMP; #4 Work with the Township to keep the RCMP in Langley; #5 Open communication, transparency and engagement.
I will bring common sense back to City Hall, respect every tax dollar, and listen to residents first. Learn more and pledge to vote at val4langleycity.ca on October 17th as an independent voice for you.
