Matt believes his job as your Coquitlam City Councillor is to help you get what you need from City Hall, and to make Coquitlam the best it can be.
Prior to serving on Council, Matt worked in the Provincial Government in areas of housing, finance, mental health, and municipal affairs.
He prides himself on being an open and accessible Councillor to help you at City Hall.
He has served as Council’s liaison to the Library, Homelessness and Housing Task Force, and chaired the City’s Sports, Accessibility, Multiculturalism committees, and Joint Police Committee.
Matt and his partner Natalie live in the City Centre neighbourhood.

I’m running for re-election with a focus on continuing to deliver the community services you deserve: Building recreation centres and libraries, opening new parks, hiring more firefighters, pairing police with mental health nurses, and housing that meets people’s real needs.
