Michelle Hak Hepburn (she/her) is a parent, postsecondary educator, and award winning researcher. In New West, she is an active member of the Brow of the Hill Residents Association. As an educator, she brings people together to advance sustainability through teaching, learning and engagement. As School Board Trustee, she will bring her experience with accessible learning and building community bridges to the table.

She is keen to support alternatives to the portable classrooms that many students are currently learning in and finding more sustainable ways for kids to get to school, whether that’s designating safe walkways, or arranging reliable bus service for students from Queensborough.
