Jordan Templeman has lived on the Saanich Peninsula all his life. His parents own and operate a local Victoria business that has been running for over 25 years, at the same time his mother managed to homeschool him and his three siblings. He grew up playing in the peninsula soccer and baseball associations and went through the 1st Tsartlip scouts here in Sidney.
Since high school Jordan has been attending Camosun College in the university transfer program for political science. As many students do he has taken some semesters off to work to pay for his education. He has worked in construction, a boat yard and for BC liquor stores.
In the spring of 2016 Jordan joined the Royal Canadian Naval Reserve as a Naval Communicator. He spent that summer at CFB Valcartier in Quebec for his Basic Military Qualifications course. Currently he attends training during nights and occasional weekends at HMCS Malahat in James Bay Victoria.
Jordan intends to spend the foreseeable future working with the people and communities on the Saanich Peninsula to make it even better than it already is.
