Biography
I work as a Real Estate Sales Representative. I have been doing that for over 30 years. I have a university Degree, B.A. in sociology. I studied radio broadcasting and broadcasted minor league hockey games on the radio. I also coached ice hockey including a team that was Deaf. I studied to be a sign language interpreter. i am currently on the Board of Dirctors of my condominium building. I run every day outdoors to stay in shape.
I feel with my extensive background at dealing with people I can manage and make changes to the city. I am a people person and have been involved with a wide variety of situations in my life time which gives me the necessary experience to lead our city.
Reason for running
We need to look after the elderly, the homeless and the mentally ill people. Too often these groups are ignored. Mentally people are running around our city off their medication and it ends up in a disaster. I am proposing that doctors must take the advice of the family members of the mentally ill person before releasing them from the hospital and back into society. They must be released back into society on a gradual basis with the aid of a Social Worker.
