I want to see the bridge between community, business, environmental issues, and government strengthened in the Township of Langley. I would like to see a council protecting and restoring the natural environment through education, cooperation and policy.
I want to see the bridge between community, business, environmental issues, and government strengthened in the Township of Langley. I would like to see a council protecting and restoring the natural environment through education, cooperation and policy. I want to work to see a deeper dialogue created within the communities in Langley Township.
I believe we can have urban growth using thoughtful planning and supporting a common sense approach to reducing waits on building permits. We need to push for a simplified, straightforward process that is consistent. With the right initiatives, the Township can grow sustainably.
I will stand to protect sensitive greenspace and the Agricultural Land Reserve. This strategy needs to keep the latest common sense community planning principles in mind and the mindset that we need to act to protect habitat and watersheds within the Langleys.
I want to support our rural areas and farmers in the community, farming is an integral part of our community with unique challenges ahead, and we need to listen closely.
I want to ensure there is more conversation about our youth and seniors in Langley and the importance of amenities and programs that both can have access to.
I want to ensure diversity and inclusion are a part of the culture on council. As a Metis person that is also of Ukrainian descent and seeing how diverse the Township is, this is an integral aspect of finding common ground with all walks of life within our community.
These are the highlights of why I want to be on your council, and I hope to count on your vote in October.
