I have served Canada, the Province of BC and the City of Chilliwack for over 40+ years. served in the RCMP for 35 years all across Canada. I was stationed in Chilliwack in 1992 and rose through the ranks becoming the Commander for Chilliwack and the Fraser Valley in 2002. In 2007 I was appointed the A/Commr responsible for all aspects of planning and security for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games. I was responsible for approx. 16,000 personnel and a budget of $550 million dollars. In 2009 I was awarded the Order of Merit by the Governor General of Canada for my service to Canada both at home and abroad. In 2010 I was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal by our Lieutenant Governor General for outstanding service to the citizens of British Columbia.

I have worked in service to Chilliwack, British Columbia and Canada for 45+ years. It's in my DNA to serve, Ive never known anything else. I'm proud to be a long term resident of Chilliwack and always believed I can continue to serve and help make Chilliwack an even better place
Four years ago, I made promises to the City of Chilliwack and was rewarded with their vote and their trust. I have worked very hard to deliver on the promises I made 4 years ago. I committed to focus on public safety, parks and trails for people of all ages and capabilities, quality development, maintain a low tax rate and continue to build a city that is inclusive, diverse and accessible to everyone. There is still work to be done. If re-elected to council, my work and commitment will continue.
