Biography
Scott Kristjanson is an accomplished Computer Systems developer with 30 years of business experience who knows how to work with people to make great things happen. As a dedicated member of White Rock City Council, Scott has consistently demonstrated his commitment to improving the lives of residents. He played a pivotal role in updating the Official Community Plan to reduce excessive building heights, chaired the Dogs on the Promenade committee, and worked closely with the Semiahmoo First Nation’s Council to advance reconciliation and environmental protection in Semiahmoo Bay.
Scott has a proven track record of honoring his election promises as a Councillor, a trait he pledges to uphold as a BC Greens MLA. Having grown up in this riding, Scott has seen firsthand the challenges we face—from long waits in emergency rooms to the soaring cost of housing. His vision for meaningful change is rooted in prioritizing people over corporations. Scott believes that with focused, people-centered policies, we can address these pressing issues and create a sustainable, thriving community for all.
